Here is one of the (very) good surprises of recent months: the Luna de Foreo.

Online Fashion Store met him during the Victoires de la Beauté, and at the time I must admit that I said to myself "good, one more face brush". Because this is not what is lacking in recent years, face brushes, you will agree.

But after a few months of use, I have to face the facts: I like it very much, take pleasure in using it daily, and my skin makes it well. I have rarely had it so sweet.

What is Luna de Foreo?

It is a facial cleansing and anti-aging device. On the one hand, it has:

• silicone pimples for cleaning the skin
• on the other side we find the anti-aging action with low-frequency pulsations firmer skin

Well, concerning this last point I have some doubts, I still haven't understood how it could be really anti-aging. And I tend to skip that side, except on evenings when I'm very motivated.

In any case, know that the device works on battery and that its autonomy is super great, I have the impression to have very very little charge since I use it.

You can use the Luna with any facial cleanser, even if the brand offers its own cleansers and they are… excellent.

Who is the Luna for?

For everyone. You will see that there are different kinds of Luna, different sizes and colors. Thus each skin can find happiness there (mixed skin, more or less sensitive, etc). I'll let you look at the details here.

The one I present to you is the one I had at Victoires de la Beauté, the rose, for sensitive to normal skin. My skin is combination and sensitive and yet I find it perfectly adapted, the differences must be minimal.

How to use Luna de Foreo?

The handling of the device is frankly average and for me, it will be the only negative point. It's pretty, design, but not super practical either. Finally, we still get by it is the main thing (and it is not slippery so ultimately we do not escape it).
I would not have said no to a more ergonomic chouïa.

When the device is started it emits small vibrations. It's sweet, it's pleasant, it's really a little moment of relaxation. This is not a device that will wake your neighbors up, it really does not make a lot of noise (a little bzzt bzzt) (yes I am very good at onomatopoeias).

We moisten the face and the brush, we apply the cleaning product and presto we pass on the face.
The intensity of the pulsations can be adjusted, and the small light indicates when it is necessary to change the cleaning zone (after 15 seconds). She does all the work, a bit like modern electric toothbrushes but a face brush version.

Basically, it takes a minute to do the entire face.

The anti-aging mode is on the other side: the surface is applied to the areas to be treated for 12 seconds.
I say it again, I am not persuaded of the effectiveness and I would probably never know it because I tend to zap this part (it is funny at the beginning then, we just want to remove makeup and Basta) . I admit that for once I prefer to do from time to time a little shot of Réju for the firmness of the skin, in front of a small tv series.

Cleansers

Foreo offers 2 treatments: a morning cleanser and an evening cleanser.

Again the band blew me away, I did not expect so well. The formulas are at the top.

The Morning Cleansing Care has a “yogurt” texture when applied. It then turns into very soft foam. The treatment contains fruit extracts as well as probiotics to hydrate and protect the skin from attack. The product smells super good, the skin is soft, fresh, radiant.

Same (good) surprise with the Cleansing Evening Care with a transformative formula. The texture first looks like a jelly, super pretty because pearly with small grains: meteorite powder. It turns into milk and offers a gentle cleansing (contains sweet almond oil and Moringa extract to detoxify the skin).
Likewise, the scent is top, the feeling too. Soft skin, perfectly cleansed.

And believe me, I am rather difficult in cleaners but there I have to go to the obvious, these are excellent care.

The results

Well, I am frankly amazed. My skin is really super soft (but really REALLY). Zero feelings of discomfort, or redness. It's just super nice!

I thought I would get tired of it, but no, the cleaning lasts a minute, you shouldn't recharge the device too often, and it is easy to clean. This is perfect for a lazy girl like me.

I did not expect to appreciate the silicone spikes at this point, but I must admit that for my sensitive skin it is ideal. And in addition to its bristle brush competitors, there is no need to buy a brush.

So: I highly recommend: yes:!

Regarding cleaners, you can use anyone, but know that if you have the budget, the brand's Morning & Evening Cleaners are really excellent.
