THE CROCODILE MANICURE

On the varnish side, we no longer stop progress on the effects side! After the cracked varnishes we can now have a crocodile effect on the nails.
It's quite funny and original, I bought this Barry M  Beauty Product nail polish during a recent stay in London.

The big difference that I noticed with the crackle varnish from OPI is the texture, which is much more fluid. It must be applied to a varnish that is not quite dry, otherwise, it will not hold at all and will turn into dust at the slightest friction.

I used a golden Kiko varnish as a base, it is 274 Gold Micro glitter. It is very pretty, light gold. You need at least 2 layers for nice coverage. I like it a lot, it brings light to the nails without being too much like golden varnishes often are, it knows how to remain discreet.

After the second coat, I therefore almost immediately applied a uniform coat of Barry M's Croc varnish. In a few minutes, we can see the pattern forming, it is a little longer compared to Crackle varnish.

What I like enough is that the pattern is finer, you really have the impression of having snakeskin at your fingernails. I totally agree with a French beauty addict in London where I discovered this nail polish, the result is much more subtle! In addition, it had the merit of holding 2 whole days without addicts (and without topcoat), a feat for me. It takes a few manipulations before managing the quantity to apply to obtain a similar effect on each nail, you can see that I really planted myself on the middle finger, less cracked than the others (these photos were during my 1st tests), then doing this outside shouldn't have helped.

So of course it won't be to everyone's taste but if you like a little fun varnished experiences I recommend it, it's very original.

Too bad it only exists in black for the moment, I would see a nice red or a pretty lizard green: wink:.
